The Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science (KAMS) is the state's premier academic high school program for Kansas' best and brightest high school students. It is a unique residential learning experience that provides exceptional high school juniors and seniors with a potent blend of college-level institution, research opportunities and extracurricular activities.
KAMS students earn 68 hours of college credit in math and science courses such as biology, chemistry, physics, calculus and research projects.
The students are exposed to Kansas business and industry leaders, cultivating relationships that may encourage students to join the Kansas workforce in a science or math-related capacity.
