Opportunities to Give

Private support is vital to the future growth and success of Fort Hays State University. 

There are many ways to make a gift that benefits the University, each of which can express a donor’s particular interests and has distinct tax advantages. A charitable gift may be outright, providing immediate support to Fort Hays State; it may be deferred so that the donor will retain an interest in the gift property and the university’s actual use of the gift is postponed; or it may be by bequest, as part of one’s estate plan. There are a variety of assets that may be appropriate for charitable gift purposes.

Through annual appeals, capital campaigns, and planned giving programs, the FHSU Foundation provides alumni and friends of FHSU an opportunity to support the University.
