Construction on the Robbins Center is complete! The FHSU Foundation and the Alumni Association moved into the building in early September 2007.

The FHSU Foundation (formerly the FHSU Endowment Association) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 1946. Our mission is to support and advance the university by actively seeking monetary gifts and bequests and to receive and administer those contributions in a prudent manner in accordance with donors’ wishes.

The Foundation staff is committed to cultivating lasting relationships with alumni, friends, corporations and other organizations that have a passion for Fort Hays State University and want to continue its legacy of excellence. Our donors have an impact on all facets of university life, and their support continues to translate into success for students and the FHSU learning environment.

20 Consecutive Year Donors Recognized

On Saturday, March 1, more than 150 friends and alumni attended a pre-game reception at the Robbins Center sponsored by the FHSU Foundation.  This group represents 1,460 individuals who have supported FHSU for 20 or more consecutive years with financial gifts to the university.  Cumulative giving adds up to $5,673,692.64 in support for scholarships and university projects.

The guests enjoyed a hors d'oeuvre buffet and heard from recent graduate Diane Becker ‘07, Director of Economic Development for Norton County, and Zach Scruggs, Wylie, TX, senior media studies major and co-captain of the FHSU football team.  Diane and Zach thanked the crowd for their long standing support by identifying how they individually had benefitted from the generous donations of FHSU supporters.

Following the reception, the group moved to Gross Memorial Coliseum to be guests of Dr. Hammond at the FHSU vs. Northwest Missouri State basketball game.
