As is tradition, Tiger Auction Item #40 addresses the most significant need for the upcoming year of Tiger Athletics.  Transportation has re-emerged as a critical need.  Dedicated and dependable transportation ensures that we are providing a first-class experience for over 500 exceptional Tiger student-athletes and coaches.

Positioning our teams for national relevance and postseason competition by scheduling the best non-conference, regionally ranked competition is central to our departmental goals. Compounded by increased travel demands of the MIAA conference, item #40 is even more impactful this year.

Operating a dedicated fleet of buses and vans reduces our travel expenses by approximately two-thirds, compared to chartering comparable trips, due to our geographical proximity.

Although we have savings, we still face unique challenges related to transportation, compared to other institutions. Our unique transportation challenges make an investment in dedicated athletic transportation a sound, long-term financial strategy while prioritizing the student-athlete experience.
