Making a Difference

Scholarships Reduce Debt Burden

Ella Burrows is an aspiring lawyer.

Since she knows law school will burden her with student loans, she hopes to receive her bachelor’s degree with little or no debt.

Thanks to her work ethic and the generosity of our donors, she’s on track to make her dream a reality.

Our Donors Inspire Students

“I believe that “Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger” rings true for many alumni and friends of Fort Hays State University. Like others, Barbara Ramsey was inspired to help those getting started in her profession, while also supporting her alma mater.

I am beyond appreciative of Barbara’s generosity and willingness to support my journey at Fort Hays State. My dream is to become a teacher to help students find their passion and to push them to their full potential. This is exactly what Barbara has done for me!”

— Holly Dethlefs, Elementary Education Major
