The Golden Q Provides Annual Scholarships

Wes Rathbun exemplifies what Fort Hays State alumni can achieve with hard work and determination. After graduating with two degrees, Wes applied the knowledge he gained at FHSU to flourish as the owner of multiple Hays businesses, including The Golden Q.

Through the Golden Q Scholarship Wes recently established, he shares his undying gratitude for his alma mater. The Golden Q Scholarship has a unique application process: students are asked to show their Tiger pride by submitting photos capturing their spirit at FHSU events.

Wes decided on this because of his proud memories of cheering on Tiger Athletics.
